Return policy

This Return and Refund Policy complies with Australian Consumer Law and applies to all orders placed at solacesilkstudio.com.

  1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order. Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Final sale items, personalised goods, intimate apparel and items marked non-returnable at checkout cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  2. HOW TO START A RETURN Before sending anything back, you must submit a return request by emailing contact@solacesilkstudio.com with your order number, photos of the item and reason for return. We will review your request and send a return authorisation and return instructions. Do not send items back without prior authorisation, otherwise we cannot guarantee processing your refund.
  3. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS Customers are responsible for return shipping fees unless the return is due to our error: wrong item sent, manufacturing defect, damaged goods on arrival. In cases of our error, we will cover the cost of return shipping or organise a replacement as agreed. Original outbound shipping charges (where applicable) are non-refundable.
  4. REFUND PROCESS Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refund timing also depends on your card issuer’s processing schedule.
  5. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS If you receive a damaged, faulty or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and the product. We will arrange a replacement or full refund for these cases.
  6. EXCHANGES Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the replacement item you want is out of stock, we will process a refund instead.
